Reopening of the Musée des arts de Nantes

Following a transformation by British architectural design practice Stanton Williams, the Musée d'arts de Nantes reopened its doors to the public on Friday 23 June. With its exhibition surface area increased by 30%, the 19th-century palais along with its façades and its 3,500 m² of glazing have been completely refurbished, at a total cost of 48.8 million euros. RFR contributed to the design and implementation of this project in its capacity as Structural and Envelope Engineer.
