The Hotel Marriott Tour Paris Lyon has officially opened its doors

The hotel has officially opened its doors.

Property of the SNC Tour Paris Lyon, and represented by Axa France Vie, the Paris-Lyon Tower– 19 floors and 60 meters high– was built in 1974 and initially housed offices.

The company of architects Studios Architecture has completely redesigned and restructured the building for Pitch Promotion Snc. This promoter took a small risk on this project: When he decided to renovate the tower and turn it into a hotel, he still had no taker. But the location of the building at 209 – 211 Rue de Bercy in Paris, a few steps from Gare de Lyon, and the exceptional views of Paris from the sixth floor quickly interested Marriott, who took the building to set up a 249-room 4* Courtyard by Marriott hotel.

The Tour Paris Lyon has changed a lot since the beginning of the work in 2016.

The building now houses a 4 stars hotel. By its architecture also: The agency Studios architecture proposed for this building a new vision of the Tower, with clean lines.
RFR ans the agency Studio Architecture worked in collaboration on the design of the facades. Composed of large CCV panels for the opaque parts, and a glazed veil that turns on the entrance, the Tower illuminates at night and renews the skyline of the Gare de Lyon .

The project was led by Axa Investment Managers-Real Assets and Pitch Promotion as a delegated project manager.
